Sully Medforth joins the Canes on loan

Sully joins on loan from Hull FC

We are pleased to confirm we have signed young half-back Sullivan Medforth on loan from Hull FC for the remainder of the 2024 season. His parent club describe him as already having a strong running and precise kicking game, both being key attributes one would expect out of a half.

The 19-year old is a member of Hull FC's first team but is yet to make his professional debut, having graduated from his boyhood club's academy and featured in the club's reserves this season.

He will link up with fellow Hull FC loanee Kye Armstrong, who made his professional debut last Sunday against Keighley Cougars, and go straight into contention for Mark Dunning's 21-man team to face Oldham on Sunday.
