Brad Clavering Re-Signs for 2024.
We are delighted to confirm that fan favourite Brad Clavering has re-signed with the Hurricanes for the 2024 season following a strong run of form this season.
Clav's first appearances for the club were on dual registration in 2020 whilst a member of the Hull Kingston Rovers' squad – he made two appearances before the season was curtailed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Having impressed the previous year, the king of the offload was signed on a deal for the 2021 season and has been a fixture of the Canes ever since. To date he has 44 appearances, seven tries and a solitary conversion to his name, meaning he is almost certainly going to follow Chris Cullimore as one of the ever-increasing number to have played 50+ games for the Canes. We're very much looking forward to seeing Brad in a Canes shirt going forwards.
Brad Commented “I’m over the moon to get next year sorted. With Mark and Leigh incharge we have seen big improvements already. The things we want to achieve next year is something that excites me and I want to be part of it.”
Want to potentially see Brad in action against Rochdale Hornets this Sunday? Make sure to book your place on the coach for free here as places are limited. The Supporters Club is also encouraging all travelling Canes fans to sit in Block C of Spotland Stadium (the small section towards the middle of the pitch) so we can cheer on Brad and the boys together. Tickets can be purchased from the Rochdale Hornets website here.
Come on you Canes!
