FROM THE SHEDS
“Last week didn’t go to plan. We had a poor journey down including issues with the bus which detracted the players attention and delayed our arrival. Crusaders started quick and were ruthless in their execution. I’m looking for a big improvement in the start to the game on Sunday.
We showed in glimpses that were a good rugby team but confidence is low in the group at the moment and it showed, when we faced some adversity our resilience wasn’t what it needs to be.
We have added some new faces to the squad from Wigan this week and I want to thank Matty Peat and John Duffy for allowing us to welcome Max Wood, Kavan Rothwell and Fin Beardsworth in to the Hurricanes family on loan at a time when we are heavily depleted with pre arranged holidays and injuries. I’m really looking forward to seeing the enthusiasm they bring to our group.”
