Canes lock down exciting youngster until 2024

Midlands Hurricanes are thrilled to announce the signing of exciting youngster Todd Horner from Bradford Bulls until the end of 2024.

Hurricanes media caught up with Head Coach Mark Dunning and here is what he had to say

“Todd is a player that both myself and Leigh have known and worked with for a number of years.

His development and progression has accelerated and he now feels in a position to test himself and progress his development with regular game time. When we became aware of Todd’s intentions and availability, it was a no-brainer to offer to bring him in to our environment. I’m looking forward to watching Todd continue to grow and develop here at the Hurricanes”

Head of youth development Leigh Beattie added, I have worked with Todd right through the scholarship 19s and reserves, he is a player that works extremely hard and goes under the radar , I am now really excited to see him move onto the next stage of his development.

Todd is in contention for this weeks 21 man squad to take on Dewsbury Rams
