CANES SEEK NEW TEAM/KIT MANAGER

Canes seeking interested applicants for supporting role

Following the conclusion of the 2025 Betfred League One season and discussions with Head Coach Mark Dunning, we can announce the departure of current Team/Kit Manager Adam Moffat due to his other work and family commitments. Whilst disappointed to be losing a valued member of the team, everyone at the club would like to place on record their thanks for everything Moff did for the Canes during his time at The Alex and wish him nothing but the best for the future.

Moff’s departure does however mean there is now an exciting opportunity for any interested applicants to join the club as our new Team/Kit & Equipment Manager for the 2026 season and beyond as the club takes a brave new step into the Betfred Championship for the very first time. Details of the role - including how to apply - can be found below.

Role Overview:

As Kit & Equipment Manager, you will be responsible for kit and equipment needs for the men's Team, ensuring players and staff are fully prepared for training and match days. Leading in the organisation, distribution, and inventory of kit and equipment, supporting the smooth running of daily operations.

As a pivotal member of the staff you will work closely with staff and players displaying excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

This is a paid role with use of a kit van.

Key Responsibilities:

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Leading on all kit and equipment requirements for the Men’s team, including both match kit and training gear;

  • Organise the cleaning and prepare kits, including printing numbers on shirts, and ensure they are ready for training and matches;

  • Ensure all training equipment is cleaned and maintained and prepared for training sessions as required; and

  • Set up of changing rooms on game days ensuring the players have everything they need and the relevant equipment is ready to use.
