AJ Boardman

We are delighted to sign experienced centre or wing AJ Boardman.

AJ is a product of the amatuer game in Dewsbury. His amateur club has always been Dewsbury Moor and that’s where he has been for a number of years. He took a break from the sport to take up the sport of Mountain Biking and represented his country internationally in two World Cups. He never lost his passion for the sport of Rugby league though and returned to the sport.

For the past two seasons he has played for Hunslet in Betfred League One.

I've known AJ for a number of years growing up being involved at the same amatuer club and have always known his ability. AJ is an honest and hard-working individual and realises he still has a lot to learn, but his willingness and eagerness to be better and improve himself means he will be a valuable asset for us in a range of positions. He is another individual that prides himself on being aggressive in defence and doesn’t miss one on one opportunities. I'm looking forward to seeing how he progresses this year and proving to people he is more than capable at competing at this level.
